Girl time with Lydia

     While Jim took care of a few errands in our old stomping grounds of Tallahassee, I flew up to New Jersey to visit daughter Lydia. We had so much fun! It was a fantastic 4 day trip, and ended too quick. So much to do, so little time, yet we managed to squeeze in tons of fun. I’m so proud of Lydia and her courage to take on the Big Apple – she’s fitting right in as a city girl. Just a few highlights:
* Bronx Zoo
* The fun Speakeasy “Bathtub Gin” in NYC, hidden behind a cafe storefront.
* Chelsea Market
* Statue of Liberty ferry ride
* Not one, not two, but THREE lucky pennies found, all heads-up!
* 9/11 Memorial
* Times Square, Bryant Park, Salesforce Tower, Grand Central Station

Tallahassee – back in our ol’ stompin’ grounds

     Tallahassee, Florida, the town with so much history for us.

      This stop was essentially a place to rest up, catch up, and prepare for our upcoming trip to the Hulaween Festival. We stayed a week here, which allowed me to fly up to New Jersey and spend some time with my daughter Lydia.
       We managed to swing by our former homes turned rental houses, see a few friends, and visit a few favorite restaurants.
